Soune creates focus habits through sound and physical interactions for people who work in open spaces. The interface on the surface supports open communication, while co-workers can see the current focus levels from a distance and the connected apps. Soune supports the feeling of ease, safety, and being understood while focusing.

DESKTOP CONNECTION

People can be added in selected focus levels. For example, your
partner in crime can always reach out to you even in the deep focus.

INSIGHTS
Throughout the process, I worked with UX research, animation and sound design. I got familiar with Ableton and Vital to design sounds for physical and digital interactions as well as interface animations. Moreover, constant communication between industrial designers allowed us to work closely with the physical interaction.

Recognizing how each aspect of product design, including sound, animations and interface, influences the creation of a gentle and trustworthy experience, broadened my perspective.
